Concepts for ABAP Search help

Step by step Procedure:  

Open DEBI collective search help from SE11 transaction.  

 

DEBI search help contains multiple Elementary search helps (EX:DEBIA,DEBID etc.....).

Open DEBIA elementary search help.  

 DEBIA contains HOT key as 'A'(Customers(general))  

DEBID (Customers(by company code) elementary search help contains HOT key as 'D'  

Now we can use this Hot keys and search the values very quickly.  

Eg.,.Go to XD02 transaction. Customer was assigned to DEBIA collective search help.

Customer (general) contains Hot key 'A'  

Hotkey extension is =<Hotkey>.<Field1>.<Field2>.<Field3> etc. 

Example

 =A.<Search term>.<Postal code>.<city>.<name>.<customer>  

Customers (by Company code) contains Hot key 'D'

 

Hotkey extension is =<Hotkey>.<Field1>.<Field2>.<Field3> etc. 

Example:

     =D.<Search term>.<Postal code>.<city.name>.<Customer>
